The application window for all 2016 Lawrenceville events is open until July 6. The Lawrenceville City Council approved a new special event policy and application process last year for all events taking place in 2015 and beyond.

The new policy is currently in effect for requests to use of the Lawrenceville Lawn, road closures due to rental of the Historic Gwinnett county courthouse grounds, and any pre-approved parade routes, 5K or 10K run/walk events.

Event organizers will be contacted regarding application status by Aug. 4. Once the city’s event calendar for the designated time frame has been established, no events will be added or road closures granted. When the next application window opens, events will be accepted for the following calendar year. Information: www.lawrencevillega.org, Events@LawrencevilleGa.org or 678-407-6651.
