Lawrenceville City Councilwoman Marie Bieser announced plans to retire this week. The 75-year old will not seek another four-year term when her current one expires at the end of this year. Beiser has served on the city council since her election in November 2008. Her seat is one of three council seats, including the mayor, up for election this fall.
To fill her seat, Beiser is endorsing Lawrenceville Downtown Development Authority Chairman David Still. Still’s term as DDA Chair will expire December 2017.
