The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to allow rezoning of an existing structure at 330 Buford Drive for use as a hair salon. The property is just south Buford Drive’s intersection with the North Clayton Street and Industrial Park Drive intersection.

The land is currently developed with one building with parking at the rear. Nearby properties along and across Buford Drive are developed with automobile-related services, bail bond services and industrial uses.

Approval came with a number of conditions including a requirement to provide and maintain a 10-foot enhanced buffer along all property lines and to add a five-foot sidewalk along Buford Drive. The existing parking and driveway surfaces must be paved and striped to meet city standards within 18 months of approval.
