Today is the last day to register to vote ahead of the District 3 special election on March 19 in Atlanta.

Voters will chose from the nine candidates vying to fill the district 3 council seat vacated when Ivory Lee Young Jr. died.

Hapeville residents will also hold a special election for alderman.

Early voting for the races will take place Feb. 25 to March 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fulton County Government Center located at 130 Peachtree Street in Atlanta.

There will be no weekend early voting. If necessary, a runoff will be held April 16.
