Asphalt crews with the Georgia Department of Transportation will begin patching the intersection at Ga. 365 and Ga. 384/ Duncan Bridge Road in Cornelia on Monday, Sept. 30.

This work will require maintenance crews to close the northbound and southbound left turn lanes on Ga. 365. Crews will work 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Also, during the duration of the project, southbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane to ensure the safety of drivers and construction workers. Drivers are reminded to slow down, pay close attention and expect delays if you are traveling in the area.
