Continuing bridge and roadway construction for the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange project will require lane, street and ramp closures the coming nights in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

All work is “weather permitting” and scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Georgia Department of Transportation said.

On westbound I-285, two right lanes will be closed Monday-Wednesday from Ga. 400 to Glenridge Drive; three left lanes, Tuesday-Wednesday, from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Glenridge; and two right lanes, Wednesday-Friday, at Roswell Road. Backup dates are Thursday-Friday.

GDOT also announced the closure of southbound Peachtree Dunwoody during the Monday-Friday overnight hours from Hammond to Lake Hearn drives. Northbound lanes will remain open. Ashford Dunwoody Road is the suggested detour.

Finally, the ramp from southbound Ga. 400 to eastbound I-285 will be closed overnight Tuesday-Wednesday. The recommended detour is to continue south on Ga. 400, exit at the Glenridge Connector, and re-enter Ga. 400 northbound back to I-285.
