More overnight lane and ramp closures are planned this week as part of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange reconstruction in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

"Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas," the Georgia Department of Transportation advises. Information: https://bit.ly/2JnKonH

The work, “weather permitting,” is planned for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly:

Monday (overnight): Two right lanes of northbound and southbound Ga. 400 will be closed between Abernathy Road and Spalding Drive.

Tuesday (overnight): Two right lanes of Johnson Ferry Road will be closed from Glenridge Point Parkway to Meridian Mark Road.

Tuesday-Thursday (two nights): One left lane of eastbound I-285 from Glenridge Drive to Ga. 400, and the ramp from eastbound I-285 to northbound Ga. 400, will be closed. Traffic pacing will occur on northbound Ga. 400 from Lenox Road to I-285; eastbound I-285 from Roswell Road to Ga. 400; and westbound I-285 from Ashford Dunwoody Road to Glenridge.

GDOT advises that traffic pacing also may occur during the day, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., in all directions of I-285 and Ga. 400 for deliveries of supplies and construction. Ramp lane widths may be reduced to allow construction vehicles to enter and exit the work zone.
