More overnight lane closures and detours are planned in the coming days for the continuing reconstruction of the Ga. 400/I-285 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.
All closures are “weather permitting,” subject to change and scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Georgia Department of Transportation said.
Westbound Abernathy Road from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Ga. 400 will be closed nightly Monday-Saturday, as will the exit ramp from northbound Ga. 400 to westbound Abernathy to Sandy Springs. Detours will be in place to allow for bridge construction, GDOT said.
Two left lanes of northbound Ga. 400 will be closed Tuesday-Wednesday; three left lanes, Wednesday-Thursday; and two right lanes, Thursday-Friday, at Mount Vernon Highway. Also, two right lanes of southbound Ga. 400 will be closed Wednesday-Thursday from Hammond Drive to the Glenridge Connector.
Finally, two right lanes of westbound I-285 will be closed Thursday-Friday from Glenridge Drive to Roswell Road.
