The use of credit card fee machines is expanding at Lake Lanier, with the devices now installed at four additional parks with boat ramps to accept launch fees and dispense annual passes, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced.

The machines are operational at Balus Creek, East Bank, Vann’s Tavern and Tidwell parks, the Corps said. The launch fee is $5, and an annual pass costs $40.

For those who purchase annual passes from a machine, their receipts are temporary passes that need to be exchanged for permanent ones within seven days. Exchanges can be made at the Lanier Project Office, 1050 Buford Dam Road, Buford.
