One person was killed and another seriously injured when a vehicle struck a bicycle Monday night in DeKalb County, according to police.
Investigators believe two people were riding one bicycle when the two lost control of it, riding into the street, DeKalb police told Channel 2 Action News.
One of the bicyclists was killed and the other injured when the two were hit by a vehicle on McAfee Road, near Decatur, police said. The names of the people on the bicycle were not released late Monday.
The driver stopped at the scene and was not expected to be charged, according to police.
