1 killed, 1 injured in SE Atlanta shooting
One person was killed and another injured in a shooting in southeast Atlanta on Saturday night, police said.
The incident happened just before midnight on May Avenue near Flat Shoals Avenue, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Police are looking for at least two suspects and believe robbery was the motive.
The victims were walking down the street when a person jumped out of a vehicle, robbed them and shot them, authorities said.
“I think that you should always be watchful when you’re walking at night anywhere,” Atlanta police Capt. Byron Martin told Channel 2.
No names have been released.
