1 killed in Atlanta triple shooting
Atlanta police Saturday were investigating a triple shooting in southwest Atlanta that left one man dead and two others, including the alleged shooter, hospitalized.
The dead man was identified as Kenneth Roberts Jr., 19, of Atlanta, according to spokesman John Chafee of the Atlanta Police Department. The two other unidentified men were hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Chafee said police were trying to determine a motive for the shootings, which occurred just before midnight Friday in the 400 block of Erin Avenue.
According to Channel 2 Action News, one witness said the men had gathered under a carport at a residence just before the shootings. A friend of one of the shooting victims told the station the wounded man was shot four times and had to have part of his colon removed.
