Work sessions by Kennesaw Mayor Derek Easterling and the City Council will be changed from Wednesdays to the Mondays before the regularly scheduled meetings because of a vote Aug. 7 by the Council. Also, work sessions will begin at 6:30 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Kennesaw City Hall, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Ave., Kennesaw.

To change the date for work sessions, city officials said there appears to be no requirement for a charter amendment or an ordinance amendment.

The change will occur during the last week of August.
