Kennesaw Council approves 70 townhomes

A townhome community was approved Jan. 16 by the Kennesaw City Council for property at 3057 Main St. and 3088 Rutledge Road.

Speaking on behalf of the applicant LDS Partners, attorney Parks Huff said the 70 townhomes are part of a larger tract of nearly 97 acres that was approved in 2014, including 77 townhomes.

This request for 8.4 acres will allow for “a courtyard and greater open space,” Huff added, and a different entrance on Rutledge Road that “will be safer with better visibility and more centrally located.”
