Jan 21, 2014Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville on Monday presented the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals with U.S. flags that flew in Afghanistan during his recent tour of duty there.
Glanville, a brigadier general for the Army Reserve, was deployed to Kabul in September 2012 for a one-year tour of duty. The 30-year armed forces veteran, who has been awarded a Bronze Star and Legion of Merit, served on the Rule of Law Field Force in Afghanistan. Glanville presented the flags during a ceremony in the state Supreme Court’s courtroom.
