Johns Creek residents will decide whether to allow Sunday liquor sales when they go to the polls this fall. In a 6-1 vote Monday evening, the City Council approved putting the issue on the Nov. 8 ballot. Councilwoman Kelly Stewart cast the lone dissent.

Under the ordinance, licensed retailers would be permitted to sell beer, wine and liquor between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
