Johns Creek used its Facebook page to update the public on road improvements taking place while traffic is lighter than usual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the intersection of Bell and McGinnis Ferry roads, crews this past week were putting in curbs and gutters. Overall project plans call for extending the northbound right-turn lane on Bell and the through lanes of McGinnis Ferry through the intersection. Construction is expected to be completed this fall. Bridge pile installation and concrete foundation work is underway as part of a project to widen State Bridge Road to three lanes in each direction between Camden Way and the Chattahoochee River. The project is expected to finish late this year. Information: http://bit.ly/2s2YPaQ

Road-patching crews also are out around the city. Patching took place last week along sections of Old Alabama, Buice and State Bridge roads; Parsons, Sargent and McGinnis Ferry roads will be worked on this week, the city said.
