The Johns Creek City Council awarded contracts Monday to three landscape architecture/engineering firms to complete final concept plans for a city park, a linear park and three pocket parks.
Barge, Waggoner, Sumner & Cannon won a $65,000 contract to design Cauley Creek Park, a 133-acre site on the Chattahoochee River south of Bell Road between Cauley Creek and Rogers Bridge Trail.
Mack Cain of Clark Patterson Lee won a $42,000 job for the Technology Park Linear Park, about 20 acres along Medlock Bridge Road between Johns Creek Parkway and East Johns Crossing.
Pond & Co. won a $44,050 assignment for three pocket parks: Bell/Boles, 2.5 acres at the intersection of its two namesake streets; Morton Road, four acres on Morton east of State Bridge Road; and State Bridge Park, four acres on State Bridge south of Camberbridge Drive.
