The final gathering of “Woman, Thou Art Loosed! Homecoming” global conference will be held in Atlanta in 2021.

The Christian-based conference, which brings together women from around the world, will not be held this year amid concerns about the spread of Covid-19.

Instead, it will be held on Aug. 5 - Aug. 7 next year at  the Georgia World Congress Center.

The organization plans to  announce several new virtual experiences, specifically tailored for the “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” audience.

The conference, which has been held for more than two decades, was scheduled for September in Atlanta. It had been held a number of years in Atlanta, but in 2018 was held in Dallas, which Jakes’ ministry, the Potter’s House, is based.

Last year, instead of the conference, there was a “Faith  & Family Cruise.”

“We came to this conclusion with the highest concern for everyone’s health and security,” Jakes said in a press release about the rescheduling. “ Even though COVID-19 has brought unique challenges for being together this year, I am already looking forward to seeing women in person from around the world in 2021 as we convene in Atlanta. “

An influential Christian leader, pastor, motivational author and filmmaker, “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” began  as one of Jakes’ most popular books.

Tickets already purchased will be automatically transferred to the 2021 event. Registration for the 2021 conference can be done online at www.WTAL.org.
