The Georgia Department of Transportation will hold another public hearing and open house on the Ga. 400/Interstate 285 interchange reconstruction project 11.a.m.-1 p.m. and 4 -8 p.m. Thursday at Congregation B’Nai Torah, 700 Mount Vernon Highway NE, Sandy Springs. No formal presentations are scheduled for the two sessions, and officials said that display information will be the same for both.

The $1.05 billion project will include new collector-distributor lanes, reconstruction of existing ramps and bridges and new flyover bridges. Construction is set to begin in 2016 and take 42 months.
