Some Atlanta attractions are offering discounts for those evacuating Hurricane Florence.
Tropical storm-force winds are spreading across the outer banks of North Carolina as Hurricane Florence, now a Category 2 storm, nears. Gov. Nathan Deal declared a state of emergency for all of Georgia on Wednesday.
Evacuations have taken place in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia ahead of what could be one of the most catastrophic hurricanes to hit the Carolinas in decades.
For those who decided to seek shelter in Atlanta, here are a some attractions offering discounts.

Anyone who presents a valid ID from an evacuated area will receive 20 percent off at the Roswell and Marietta locations.
The team is offering free tickets to Hurricane Florence evacuees for the next three games at SunTrust Park when the players take on the Washington Nationals on Friday (7:35 p.m.), Saturday (1:05 p.m.) and Sunday (1:35 p.m.). Also, all the proceeds from this weekend’s 50/50 raffle will benefit Red Cross efforts for the hurricane.
Complimentary tickets are available to all residents of North and South Carolina who have been displaced due to mandatory evacuations in anticipation of Hurricane Florence. Georgia residents who show a valid driver’s license from a specific coastal ZIP codes under a mandatory evacuation are also eligible to take advantage of this offer. Tickets are only available at the SunTrust Park Ticket Office while supplies last.
Present an ID from South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or Tennessee and get 50 percent off standard priced tickets to The Two Kids That Blow Sh*t Up by Carla Ching, a writer for “Fear the Walking Dead.” Limit one offer per guest; walk-up only. The offer is valid through Sept. 19.
Free admission is available to Hurricane Florence evacuees with a driver’s license from South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and south eastern Georgia counties through Sept. 19. The museum is closed on Monday.
Free tickets to the 1 p.m. matinee performance of Disney’s Aladdin on Sept. 13. Tickets can be claimed at the Fox Theatre Box Office, 660 Peachtree St. NE, while supplies last. The offer’s valid for residents of North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia with valid ID. There’s a maximum of four tickets per family, while supplies last.
Present a valid Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina ID to receive 25 percent off admission to "The Tortoise, the Hare & Other Aesop's Fables."

The attraction designed to entertain and educate children is offering half off the price of admission to Hurricane Florence evacuees.
Legoland Discovery Center Atlanta “hopes to provide those impacted by the storm a bit of family fun,” a Tuesday release said. This offer is valid for any walk-up guests with proper identification from the coastal regions of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
The attraction was already offering free admission to first responders through the end of the month. The venue has rides, a 4D theater and more than two million Lego bricks.
It’s located at Buckhead’s Phipps Plaza on the third floor, 3500 Peachtree Road. General admission at the door is usually $20.95 per person; online prices start at $12.50. Adults must be accompanied by a child to visit Legoland.
The museum is offering “buy 1 get 1 free admission” to evacuees with IDs this and next week. The museum is open for free on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Marietta Streetfest on the Marietta Square.

Half price admission is offered for those who present a valid ID from an evacuated area through Sept. 22.
In Cartersville, the museum is offering half off admission to those with a Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia ID through Sept. 20. The deal is not valid for programs or special ticketed events.
From Sept. 12-20, a 50 percent discount is available with code ‘hurr50’ when booking online at itstimetoescape.com or on-site with a valid coastal Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia ID.
Free walk-up tickets to all improv shows from Sept. 14-21 are available for anyone with a Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia license. The offer does not include any Atlanta Improv League Shows, Shi*Faced Shakespeare or Sketch work shows.
Half off adult and child tickets are available for anyone with an ID from North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia. The offer is only valid at the front gate from Sept. 12-20 and is not available with offer offers.
