How to register to vote in Forsyth; deadline is Tuesday
Forsyth County reminds residents that Tuesday, Oct. 9, is the deadline for registering to vote or to change their name or address on the voter registration list for the Nov. 6 elections.
A voter registration application must be completely filled out and submitted in person to the Forsyth Voter Registration and Elections Office, 1201 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, by the close of business at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday; or in person at any Forsyth County Public Library (hours vary by location).
Voters also can register via U.S. Postal Service – applications must be postmarked no later than Oct. 9 – or online at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday. Online registrants must have a valid Georgia's driver license or identification card issued by the Georgia Department of Driver Services, with a signature on file with DDS.
Those without a valid driver's license or I.D. card can print a paper registration to mail or deliver to the voter registration office. Information: https://bit.ly/2QriiZG
