Get your armor ready: the Atlanta Gladiators are looking for a mascot.

The minor league hockey team is searching for someone to don the Gladiator mascot costume and entertain fans on the ice. An application for the job is posted on the team's website.

The Gladiators’ mascot is expected to be an “energetic” entertainer, capturing the attention of thousands of fans over 36 home games. You don’t have to be able to skate to be considered for the job, but you must be willing to learn; the Gladiator mascot entertains on the ice.

The team’s season stretches from mid-October to mid-April, and games at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth are mostly on nights and weekends. The mascot will also attend community events.

You think you have what it takes? Take a shot at it.
