Hotel at Avalon to host job fair, bring 160 jobs to north Fulton

Avalon, the mixed-use development in Alpharetta, is opening its luxury boutique style hotel very soon.

But before its grand opening in January, the hotel needs to hire 160 people.

On Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, the hotel will host a job fair to meet interested applicants. The Hotel at Avalon is an Autograph Collection hotel, a brand known for celebrating individuality and crafting experiences “exactly like nothing else,” a release from Avalon says.

“The opportunity to be part of the opening team of experience makers at The Hotel at Avalon and South City Kitchen Avalon is incredibly exciting,” said Joel Myers, director of human resources at the hotel. “We’re bringing a one-of-a-kind experience to Alpharetta, and are looking for the best of the best to convey modern, southern hospitality to our guests at every turn.”

South City Kitchen will open at the hotel’s street-level.

The hotel and restaurant team will hire full-time managers, concierge, front desk staff, food and beverage staff, housekeeping personnel and people for the hotel’s culinary team.

The 330-room hotel is slated to open on Jan. 16, 2018.

Applicants are encouraged to visit to view available positions before the recruitment event. For more information on Avalon, visit
