The Holly Springs City Council has approved contracts with a combined value of $363,480 to have an architectural firm design four components of the Town Center project.

Caldwell Cline Architects and Designers detailed its tasks in proposals to Holly Springs, taking as a starting point preliminary floor plans and elevations previously approved by the city.

The firm will prepare plans and construction documents for a three-story city hall with 20,000 to 24,000 square feet ($162,500); a three-story mixed-use structure with retailing on the main level and two floors of residential units above ($158,900); a restroom pavilion ($14,000); and an amphitheater stage and dressing room restrooms ($28,080).

The architect said it will coordinate its design work with the city and its vendors, and will handle structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services as required. It did not include fees for review of work during the construction phase of the project, but said it could provide those services if needed, with fees to be determined.
