Instead of making cookies this holiday season, why not get your kids to make them?
I know, I know. They’re young. They don’t know how to make cookies. They’ll put too much of something in them. They’ll burn them. They’ll taste bad. And you don’t have time to teach them, right?
But the city of Roswell does. The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department is hosting holiday cooking classes for kids in December, focusing specifically on cookies.

The first class is Dec. 2. Kids will create a variety of cookies that can be shared with friends and family. The second class is on Dec. 9. Participants will build and decorate gingerbread houses.
Both classes cost $24 each and are open to kids ages 4 to 12.
Classes will be held at The Arts Center on 9100 Fouts Road.
