Here are the exits you should avoid in Gwinnett during your commute home

If you're about to head home through Gwinnett County, you may want to avoid a few key bottlenecks.

The Atlanta Regional Commission has compiled real-time traffic data from GPS devices and individual drivers that shows where bottlenecks are forming in the county.

Ga. 124 North at HighPoint Road is experiencing a 2.72-mile long bottleneck as of 4 p.m., according to the data. Ga. 316 East at Cedars Road isn't fairing much better, with a 2.49-mile-long backup.

Drivers on U.S. 78 West at Park Place Boulevard are sitting in a 1.46-mile-long bottleneck while travelers in the on the eastbound portion of U.S. 78 are stuck in a 1.22 mile-long slow down near Ga. 20.

The following areas are experiencing bottlenecks under a mile long:

U.S. 29 North at Ga. 124 — 0.64 miles

U.S. 78 West at Ga. 264 0.51 miles

Ga. 140 South at I-85 0.49 miles

U.S. 29 N at Ga. 8 0.40 miles

U.S. 78 West at Ga. 124 0.38 miles

Ga. 20 South at Ga. 324 — 0.35 miles
