Here are DeKalb Medical's new hospital names after Emory merger

On Saturday, the DeKalb Medical Center-Emory Healthcare merger became official.

What now?

Patients have questions, and the new partners have set up an extensive page with questions and answers here. The page answers questions about how your experience with either entity could change, along with information on other changes, including the names of DeKalb Medical's hospitals.

DeKalb Medical at North Decatur will become Emory Decatur Hospital, the site says. DeKalb Medical at Hillandale will become Emory Hillandale Hospital. DeKalb Medical Long Term Acute Care in downtown Decatur, will be Emory Long-Term Acute Care.
