Henry school calendars approved

The Henry County Board of Education voted at its Jan. 12 meeting to approve school calendars for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 school years.

The vote was delayed one month to allow two new school board members to participate. There were no changes to the calendars that were proposed in November. Classes will begin the first Monday in August each year. The most significant change from the current calendar is that fall break will move back to September after being in October for two years.
