Henry officials prep for rough winter weather

Officials with Henry County’s Emergency Management Agency conducted a winter weather workshop Dec. 15 for participants from county government, its four cities, the public school system and various public safety agencies as well as members of the private sector. It gave them a chance to develop and practice their roles in the event of a weather emergency, as local weather forecasters have predicted the possibility of a harsh Georgia winter according to a county spokesperson.
