Lori Partee and Sandy James from the Henry County School System won their division in the annual Georgia Special Needs Bus Road-e-o recently in Tifton and will compete next spring in the national competition in Louisville, Ky. The competition included a wide array of tasks and skills required for their everyday jobs such as wheelchair loading and securement, car-seat securement, special needs evacuation, and managing student behavior. Both are full-time drivers of special needs, and Partee competed at nationals in 2013 in Texas. Information: www.henry.k12.ga.us.
