The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board cancelled its scheduled July 9 regular meeting, after county officials suspended in-person board members due to employee exposure to coronavirus.

A notice was posted on the county website stating that the meeting “has been cancelled as a precaution and safety measure related to COVID-19. The meeting will be re-advertised and the items will be heard at a later date.”

Three agenda items were affected: a variance from development standards for 76.73 acres at 761 Clark Drive; a commercial rezoning for 8.43 acres south of Hwy. 20 West and east of Simpson Mill Road, for a retail center; and a residential-suburban rezoning for 70.24 acres west of Hwy. 155 North and north of Town Square Drive, for a mixed single-family residential and townhome development.
