A drug investigation in Henry County Wednesday led officers to a cache of more than 700 pounds of marijuana at a home in Stockbridge.

Five suspects ran when narcotics agents went to the house on Sims Drive Wednesday night but were arrested after a short foot chase, Henry police Capt. Jason Bolton said.

Bolton said that inside the home, agents seized 712 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $3.2 million.

Police arrested Emilio Medina, 37, and Miguel Martinez-Torres, 28, who lived at the house, along with Samuel Galvan, 46, of Forest Park, Manuel Nunez-Hernandez, 27, of Norcross and Jorge Vargas-Valencia, 35, of Tijuana, Mexico. All five were charged with marijuana trafficking and obstruction of an officer, and are being held in the Henry County Jail.
