The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted at its July 7 regular meeting to approve a resolution making it mandatory to wear face masks in county government offices, both employees and the general public.
Commissioners also urged local businesses to require them on all employees and customers, and are encouraging everyone to follow the recommendations of Gov. Brian Kemp’s executive order regarding COVID-19, while stopping short of ordering a face mask mandate countywide.
The board also passed a resolution directing county management staff to review various pandemic protocols including what the county has done the past four months in response to the COVID-19 situation.
