The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board heard two variance requests and one conditional use request at its March 14 regular meeting.

A variance application for 2820 East Lake Road “to permit the adaptive reuse of an existing building” was approved, while the petition for 504 Bethelview Drive “to permit an existing building to store vehicles” was recommended for denial. A conditional use request for 728 Elliott Road for a conservation subdivision was also recommended for denial.

Both applicants whose requests were not approved can appeal the ZAB decisions to the Board of Commissioners, who can uphold the prior recommendations or reverse them.
