The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved the purchase of emergency medical equipment for new emergency medical vehicles as well as three new pumper fire trucks.

At its Feb. 2 regular meeting commissioners agreed to fund the purchase of four defibrillators and four CPR systems, which will outfit four new emergency medical vehicles. The cost will come to $131,267.80.

Three new fire trucks will cost $1,171,965 including delivery.

All of these items will be funded from the county’s SPLOST accounts.
