Gov. Nathan Deal has named Fulton County Commissioner Liz Hausmann to the board of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council.

Established in 1981, the council advises the governor on issues affecting the criminal justice system and coordinates criminal justice activities. Hausmann has served on the Fulton County Criminal Justice Review Task Force, the Fulton Education Foundation Board of Directors and other community boards.
