The Hapeville City Council will consider extending an alcohol ordinance during the meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hapeville City Hall, 700 Doug Davis Drive. The ordinance controlling microbreweries within the city is a temporary measure until a comprehensive ordinance can be put in place.
The law currently in effect will expire Sept. 30. If approved the extension will be in effect until Dec. 31.
The council will also discuss the traffic studies done on several streets in the city to decide of further action is needed to improve traffic flow and safe travel with in the city. The studies conducted were completed by the Hapeville Police Department.
