The Cobb County Board of Education approved gym renovations recently for three schools.
Pebblebrook High School in Mableton will receive a gym renovation, theater lighting, sound replacement and athletic upgrades for $2,488,000 by Swofford Construction of Austell.
Completion is expected by July.
Griffin Middle School in Smyrna will receive a gym renovation of $1,370,500 by Shirah Contracting Co. Inc. of Mableton, also with a July completion date.
J.E. Dunn Construction of Atlanta will be the construction manager for the Campbell High School gym with a completion date of July 2017.
A proposed amount by Dunn will be approved later by the board members.
