All the dogs and cats at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter want for Christmas is to find a forever home.

The shelter currently houses more than 100 animals, with almost all of them ready to go home with a new owner. Check out some of the good boys and girls that want to cuddle up on your couch.

Gomez:

Gomez is available for adoption at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.

Gomez is a 10-month-old American Bulldog mix. The affectionate puppy “thinks he’s a lap dog” and loves to cuddle, according to the shelter’s Facebook page.

Cookie:

Cookie is available for adoption at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.

Cookie, a one-year-old Tortoiseshell cat, has had a hard time adjusting to life at the shelter, according to a Facebook post. She is anxious to get out and find a home that will provide her with a more comfortable life.

Tilly:

Tilly, an 11-month-old Boxer mix, is a high energy dog who loves to play. She is “friendly” and “exuberant,” and always looking for a way to get her paws on a treat, according to the shelter’s Facebook page.

Felicity:

Felicity is available for adoption at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.

Felicity is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair mix. The curious cat has a “darling” personality and is eager to find a home, according to the shelter’s Facebook page.

Comet:

Comet is available for adoption at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.

The shelter doesn’t have an age for Comet, but he is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He’s a little timid when he meets a new person, but warms up quickly and unleashes his curious side.

Dog doptions at the shelter are $90 and cat adoptions are $30, or $40 for two cats. Adoption fees include a veterinary exam and spay or neuter. You can call 770-339-3200 or visit the shelter at 884 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville to find out more about these pets or any others at the shelter.
