The Gwinnett County Police Department, who partnered with doorbell surveillance video company Ring earlier this year, is joining the Neighbors App by Ring in continued efforts to reduce crime.

The app allows police to inform the community of crime and safety events. Users can also share suspicious activity directly with police. Citizens do not need Ring devices to participate since any camera system can upload content to the free Neighbors App.

Local police are encouraging all Gwinnett residents to spread the word, download the app, and text gwinnett to 555888 or visit: https://download.ring.com/gwinnettcounty. Neighbors is also available in the app store.

Gwinnett Police are also reminding citizens, “If you see something and share something in the app, also report it to Gwinnett Police at 770-513-5700. Sharing within the app is not the same as filing a police report and submissions are not monitored in real time. As always, call 911 in emergencies.”
