Gwinnett will conduct poll official hiring events 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 6 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 8 at OneStop Norcoss, 5030 Georgia Belle Court in Norcross.

“Working on Election Day is a great opportunity for citizens to be actively involved in the process. Plus you can gain valuable work experience for a résumé and earn a $120 stipend,” said Gwinnett supervisor of elections Lynn Ledford.

Upcoming elections: Nov. 6 General Election and Dec. 4 for runoffs if needed.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, a U.S. citizen, and be able to read, write and speak English; bilingual Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants must also be Gwinnett residents or Gwinnett government employees, have access to a computer for required online training, and have reliable transportation.
