Gwinnett County Police are investigating after someone hacked into two signs at a construction project.

Joe Sorenson, a Gwinnett Spokesman, tells WSB one of them simply warned "EBOLA OUTBREAK AHEAD." But he says others, were much worse.

"You know, I'd rather not repeat them to be honest with you.  It was not something that was suitable for any messaging in Gwinnett County," said Sorenson.

Sorenson says they got several complaints from drivers who saw it on Wednesday at Old Norcross and Ingram Roads.

The contractor has since changed the signs and taking steps to prevent a repeat of this.

"The contractor has taken additional measures, security measures, to make sure that this doesn't happen," said Sorenson.
