Gwinnett County residents can expect a comfortable start to the week, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologists. Drier air is leading to lower humidity today, similar to conditions on Sunday, meteorologist Karen Minton said.

Temperatures will climb into the mid-80s by lunchtime before reaching a high of about 90, Minton said. Rain chances increase toward the end of the week.

In addition to the dry weather, Monday commuters in Lawrenceville will see new traffic patterns on some roads today. The city held a party over the weekend celebrating changing some one-way streets into two-way streets. Perry and Clayton streets from Pike Street south are affected by the change.
