Gwinnett County police are trying to identify a suspect who allegedly stole a wallet out of a man’s car and used the victim’s credit cards at stores in Lawrenceville and Duluth.

The victim was working out at an LA Fitness in Lawrenceville on Dec. 31 when his car was broken into, according to a police report. His ID and multiple credit cards were among the items taken, police said.

After the break-in was reported to police, the victim learned that his cards had been used at multiple stores in Lawrenceville and Duluth. The suspect was captured by surveillance video leaving a Target and carrying a Target bag, photos show.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
