Gwinnett approves playground replacements for two Lawrenceville parks

Gwinnett commissioners recently approved a $425,000 contract with the highest scoring firm out of 4 proposals for playground replacements at two county parks. The contract with Playworld Preferred, Inc. will cover new equipment at Bethesda Park, 225 Bethesda Church Rd. and Ronald Reagan Park, 2777 Five Forks Trickum Rd., both in Lawrenceville.

This contract will cover the demolition of existing playground equipment, layout, provision and installation of new playground equipment, drainage material and new safety surfacing. Both playgrounds will have rubber tile safety surfacing

Funds for the playground replacements are provided by the 2014 SPLOST program.
