A state grant will pay for DeKalb County Police to buy four new Chevrolet Tahoe SUVs for its fleet.

The Georgia Emergency Management Agency’s grant will cover the $122,676 cost of the vehicles but not maintenance work on them. The new SUVs will replace aging models in the fleet, which should also save the county on maintenance costs.
