The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted June 19 to accept a $27,952 grant from the state’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council on behalf of the county’s Juvenile Mental Health Court.
The court is intended to provide treatment to children with persistent psychiatric and mood disorders, affording their families the necessary tools and support for the the children to remain in the community. The money will be applied to treatment, surveillance, equipment, drug testing supplies and assessment tools.
