Instead of letting a bicycle turn to rust in the corner of a garage, you could let a child in need use it to make memories with.
The Fulton County Library System and the group Free Bikes 4 Kids are gearing up for a campaign Oct. 5 to collect bicycles (and tricycles) at local library branches.
Free Bikes 4 Kids has promised to clean and repair “gently used” bikes for children in need, but they said folks should also feel free to donate new rides.

Last year, according to the FB4K website, 420 children received bikes.
You can drop off bikes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that Saturday at the following branches:
Alpharetta Library, 10 Park Plaza in Alpharetta
East Roswell Library, 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell
Kirkwood Library, 11 Kirkwood Road in Atlanta
Metropolitan Library, 1332 Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta
Milton Library, 855 Mayfield Road in Milton
Sandy Springs Library, 395 Mount Vernon Highway in Sandy Springs
