Two northbound and two southbound lanes of Glenridge Drive under I-285 will be closed overnight through Friday, Oct. 26, as crews reconfigure lanes for the continuing reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Weather permitting, the lane closures are scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. Two right-hand northbound lanes of Glenridge will remain open.

The recommended detours: To go from eastbound I-285 to northbound Glenridge, exit I-285, turn right on Glenridge, angle off to the right on the cutover to Johnson Ferry Road, and turn left on Johnson Ferry back to northbound Glenridge.

To get to westbound I-285, take Hammond Drive to Roswell Road and turn left on Roswell to the I-285 west entrance ramp. Those driving south on Glenridge who find their way blocked should take I-285 west, exit to Roswell, turn left at the top of the ramp and then left on I-285 east back to Glenridge.
